Der Gefäßkörper zylinderförmig, getragen von einem aus drei nackten Nereiden gebildeten Fuß über vierseitigem, kantigem Fußsockel. Wandung umlaufend im Hochrelief dekoriert mit Putten im Schilfufer, dazwischen Delfine. Einer der Putten mit Neptundreizack. Der Henkel vollplastisch gebildet in Gestalt eines bocksbeinigen Fauns, über seinen Schultern hochziehendes Blattwerk, das zur schiffförmigen Tülle führt. Darauf nochmals ein liegender Putto mit Wasserkanne. Unterhalb der Tülle an der Vorderseite ein Putto auf einem Hippokampus reitend. Die Dekoration bezieht sich sämtlich auf das Thema des Wasser, entsprechend der Nutzung der Kanne. Stark polychrom bemalt und goldstaffiert. (940703)
