Die zwei quadratischen Bildflächen des Diptychons stoßen unmittelbar aneinander. Mit kräftigen, energetischen Pinselstrichen ist die schwarze Farbe der abstrakten Komposition auf das dicke, strukturierte Papier aufgetragen. Die Arbeit erhält durch die Möglichkeit zur freien Hängung zusätzlich einen skulpturalen Charakter.
