Der Blick aus der Kavaliersperspektive, leicht erhöht, zeigt einen höher gelegenen, verschneiten Damm, auf dessen Weg mehrere Personen in den Vordergrund ziehen, im Zentrum ein Pferdekarren. Der Damm mit schlanken, alleeartig gepflanzten Bäumen bestanden, dazwischen wird ein größeres Giebelgebäude sichtbar. Rechts tieferliegende Ebene mit einem Flusslauf, über den eine Brücke führt, auf dem zugefrorenen Fluss mehrere Personen beim Eisvergnügen. Am Horizont Andeutung einer Stadtsilhouette rechts hinten. Hoher, bräunlich nebliger, winterlicher Wolkenhimmel. Die Beleuchtung von rechts oben lässt die mit Schnee und Reif bedeckten Äste der zarten Bäume gut zur Wirkung bringen. (940839)
