Sehr schöne Kopfstudie eines bartlosen, jungen Mannes, der das Haupt nach links hinten wendet. Das Haupt ist bis zum Ansatz der Schulterpartie zu sehen. In fließenden Locken ist das Haar um den Kopf skizziert. Es handelt sich um eine Studie nach der Büste des sterbenden Alexander in den Uffizien, Florenz. Die Büste ist eine Kopie nach dem heute verlorenen Original der Schule von Pergamon aus dem 2. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Rest.

Sammlung Santo Varni (dort bezeichnet links unten "A917 Ignoto". Die Sammlung umfasste insbesondere Arbeiten der Genueser Schule. (9309711)
