Paar Albarelli mit eingezogenem Fuß, zylindrischem Körper und schmalem Hals. Beide Albarelli weisen in der Sockelzone sowie Schulter die gleiche Bemalung mit Zick-Zack-Muster in Blau auf weißem Fond auf. Der eine Albarello zeigt in einem schildartigen Medaillon einen zeitgenössischen Feldherren im Profil nach links mit hohem Helm vor blauem Fond. Im zweiten Medaillon ist ein Herr ebenfalls im Profil nach links mit Bart und unbedecktem Haupt zu sehen. Die Flächen zwischen den Medaillons sind mit Waffen und Zelt vor blauem Fond bemalt. Der andere Albarello zeigt zwei Männer im Profil nach links in zeitgenössischem Kostüm, einer vor gelbem, der andere vor grünem Fond. Beide tragen hohe Kopfbedeckungen. Zwischen den Bildnis-Medaillons ziert ein dreifarbiges Schuppenmuster die Wandung. Die Bemalung in Blau, Grün, Gelb und Orange auf weißem Fond. Beide mit Brandfehlern in der Glasur, ein Albarello mit Haarriss. (930003)

Pair of albarelli each with cylindrical body with tapering foot and neck. Both decorated with the same chevron pattern in blue against a white ground around the base and shoulder. The first albarello, within a shield-like medallion features a contemporary general in left-facing profile wearing a tall helmet on a blue ground. The other medallion shows a bearded, bare-headed gentleman, also in profile facing left. The sections between the medallions are painted with weaponry and tents against a blue ground. The second albarello shows two men in profile facing left in contemporary costume, one against a yellow, the other against a green ground. Both are wearing tall headpieces. Between these medallions, the body of the albarelli is decorated with a tricoloured fish scale pattern. Painted in blue, green, yellow and orange on a white ground. Both with glazing flaws, one albarello with hairline crack.
