Laut Familientradition der Vorbesitzer ein Geschenk Prinz Ottos von Bayern (1848 - 1916), dem späteren König Otto I von Bayern. Laut beiliegendem, handschriftlichem Zettel im Etui ein Geschenk Ottos an seine Mutter Königin Marie "Brosche: Hellblau/ Mosaik mit Schwan/ von Otto aus Venedig/ Weihnachten M. 1874". Der Schwan auf türkisem Grund in Mikromosaik, von filigraner Einfassung umzogen, Einfassung vergoldet. Im Lederetui, mit rotem Seideninnenfutter und rotem Samt, darin Inventarnummernaufkleber, handschriftlich "425". Mit beigegebenem Schreiben der Vorbesitzer "... die Brosche wurde direkt aus dem Nachlass der Familie von Wittelsbach über einen Kommissionär erworben. München, den 21. November 1988". (931193)
