Blick von erhöhtem Standpunkt auf die Dächer und die kleine Stadtkirche mit Dachreiterturm und Zwiebelhaube, hinten zwischen Bürgerhäusern ein Vierkantturm mit Pyramidendach und Laternenhaube. Im Hintergrund die hügeligen Wiesenmatten des bayerischen Waldes unter kräftigem Wolkenhimmel. Expressionistische Bildauffassung, in überwiegend tonigen, erdbraunen und beige-roten Farben, in Kontrast zum Blau des Himmels gesetzt. (891844)
