Über drei Klauenfüßen paarweise verschlungene Drachen, darauf drei nackte Männer. Der hohe Schaft als abstrahierter Weinstock mit Löwen, Winzern und Vögeln. Drei stark abstrahierte Panther an den Tropfschalen. Beide Leuchter mit folgender mitgegossener Inschrift "Bernwardus presul candelabrum hoc puerum suum primo huius artis flore non auro non argento et tamen ut cernis conflare iubebat."

Anmerkung:
Ein ähnliches Paar Kopien befand sich demnach im Berliner Schlossmuseum. Jeweils nach den Originalen aus der Hildesheimer Bernwardswerkstatt vor 1022, welche allerdings aus teilvergoldetem Silberguss bestehen. (880045)
