Die allegorische Darstellung in Form zweier Putten auf einer Wolkenbank, wobei der rechte Knabe in Kniehaltung dem links liegenden, kleinen Mädchen einen Spiegel vorhält, in dem das Gesicht von der Seite sichtbar wird. Das Knäblein in typischer Weise etwas dunklem Inkarnat wiedergegeben, das Mädchen mit blauem Lendentuch, das über den linken Oberschenkel zieht. Dahinter gebauschte Wolken mit dunkelblauem Himmel.
Expertise:
Laut schriftlichem Gutachten von Egidio Martini, Venedig, 10. Mai 1984, dem Maler Fontebasso zugewiesen. Im genannten Gutachten wird das Werk in die Zeit um 1750 eingeordnet mit Verweisen auf Fresken um 1748 mit Literaturverweis:
