Spätere, formale Wiederholung eines der Lunettenreliefs, die Andrea della Robbia (1435 Florenz - 1525) für das Waisenhaus (ospedale degli innocenti) geschaffen hat und die in den Säulenbögen des Innenhofes dort angebracht sind. Das vorliegende Relief zeigt ein in Binden gewickeltes Kind im Halbbildnis, der Körper frontal, der Kopf nach links gewandt, die Arme seitlich ausgestreckt. Körper und Kopf in Weißglasur, Bekleidung in Braun, die Rückwand hellblau glasiert. (8706419)
