Am Unterrand nachzu mittig, leicht nach rechts versetzt signiert.
Im originalen, ebonisierten Flammleistenrahmen.

Trompe l'oeil-artig wie auf weißer Unterlage abgelegte, mit Schlagschatten gemalte Objekte wie Meeresmuscheln, größere und kleinere Schneckenmuscheln, Käfer, darunter ein Ohrwurm. Am Unterrand zwei blaue Akeleiblüten mit Blättern, ferner drei große Schmetterlinge und weitere Insekten in Feinmalerei auf pastellig grauem Grund. Die Holztafel leicht gewölbt. Verso in älterer Zeit nachträglich wohl geschrubbt, um weitere Wölbung zu verhindern. (870871)
