Im Zentrum der Darstellung ein großer Kürbis, umgeben von links daneben bis zum Boden herabziehenden, hellen, länglich-ovalen Trauben zwischen Äpfeln, Kirschen und Pflaumen. Im abgedunkelten Hintergrund sind in der rechten Bildhälfte weitere Früchte zu erkennen. Überhalb der Kürbisfrucht altrosafarbige Rosenblüten sowie blühende Jasminrispen und blaue Königswinden. Der Hintergrund stark abgedunkelt, das Zentrum des Stillebens wirkungsvoll beleuchtet. Farbauftrag mit flüssigem Pinsel, partiell pastos noppig aufgetragen, insbesondere in den aufgesetzten Glanzlichtern. (861723)
