Links als Repoussoir ein Burgturm, dahinter mehrere eingefrorene Schiffe, am Ufer im Vordergrund nach rechts ziehende Reiter in Begleitung von Jagdhunden sowie Händler und Fischer mit Pelzmützen in der rechten unteren Ecke.
