An ein Stuhlkissen zurückgelehnt, der Mund leicht geöffnet, zum Betrachter leicht herabblickend. Ohrgehänge in Form ovaler, blauer Edelsteine, mit daran hängenden, großen tropfenförmigen Perlen. Am Hals ein schwarzes Spitzenband, das tiefe Dekolleté seitlich bedeckt mit blauem, weiß gefüttertem Kleid und leicht geöffnetem Mieder, davor ein Blumenstrauß. Das Gemälde zeigt den Versuch, die Verkürzung des Gesichtes durch Schräglage und Aufliegen des Kopfes an ein Kissen wiederzugeben, wodurch ein nach unten gerichteter Blick erzeugt wird, der eine gewisse Distanz zum Betrachter beabsichtigt hat.
