Bodenturnende junge Akrobatin mit pastell-weißem Oberteil, rötlich-lachsfarbenem Halstuch und Hose vor monoton grün-bläulichem Hintergrund. Das vorherrschende Thema seiner Gemälde - wie auch in Acrobat Girl - sind Kinder in subtilen Pastelltönen gemalt mit einer Art Zuckergussoberfläche. Kinder stellen für den Künstler die Verkörperung eines Idealismus dar, der seiner Ansicht nach mit dem Erwachsenwerden verschwindet. Als einer der bekanntesten zeitgenössischen chinesischen Künstler sind Guo Jins Werke in zahlreichen internationalen Ausstellungen und Museen vertreten.

Little chinese girl doing floor exercises in a white top and red neck scarf and trousers in front of a greenish-blue background. His paintings of cherubic children in costume and play have become a signature for his works. These children represent the essence of idealism that mankind possessed but was probably lost after childhood. A graduate of Szechuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1990, Guo Jin participated in countless successful solo and group exhibitions in China, South East Asia, USA and Europe.
