Kopie nach dem verlorenen Original des Hans Holbein von 1532, von dem mehrere Kopien in verschiedenen Museen existieren. Pencz hat mit seiner Wekstatt in den 1530er Jahren zahlreiche Kopieaufträge übernommen. Brustbild nach links mit dunklem Barett.
Gutachten:
Dem Gemälde ist eine gutachterliche Besprechung von Dr. Hans Georg Gmelin aus dem Jahre 1972 beigegeben, in dem das Gemälde mit anderen Kopien des berühmten Holbein-Bildes aufgeführt wird. Eine ausdrückliche Zuweisung an Pencz erfolgt jedoch nicht eindeutig, das Gemälde ist möglicherweise etwas jünger. (832102)
