Großbürgerliches Interieur mit noch sehr jungem Mann in Offiziers-Uniform in Verehrung vor einer jungen Dame kniend. Er hat einen Blumenstrauß und seinen Uniformhut am Boden abgelegt, während die Dame ihn lächelnd mit einem Lorgnon betrachtet. Hinter dem roten Paravent erscheint der Hausherr, ebenfalls die Szene schmunzelnd aufnehmend, im Hintergrund die für die gehobene Gesellschaft typische Einrichtung mit Tafelklavier, Blumensäule und Portieren.(831597)
