Steinvase, der ovaloide Vasenkörper aus dem seltenen, in England beheimateten Blue John (Halbedelstein), der seit der Römerzeit und v.a. dem 18. Jahrhundert gefördert und zu Schmuckelementen verarbeitet wurde. Ein Fluorit-Quarz, hier mit besonders schöner Farbgebung, wabenförmigen, transluziden Vertiefungen und dunkelvioletten Äderungen auf gedrehtem, ebonisiertem Holzsockel montiert. Der nicht abnehmbare Deckel spitz zulaufend mit abschließendem Eichelknoten, die Lackmontierung mit Goldlackprofilen. Empire-Form. (821142)
