Die Hunde in schwarz-braunem bzw. rötlich-braunem Fell mit weißen Pfoten auf einem Stein in bergiger Weidelandschaft. Im Hintergrund vier Wollschafe zwischen Felsen auf einem Wiesenstück. Der Maler hat das Naturthema als schottisch gekennzeichnet, indem er zwischen die beiden Hunde ein schottisches, schwarzes Barett mit rotem Bommel eingelegt hat. (821726)
