Jahrhunderts mit mehr als 250 dekorativen Bänden und Reihenwerken aus den Bereichen Geschichte, Literatur, Geographie etc. Vorhanden sind Monographien zur europäischen und russischen Geschichte, ein französisches Lexikon, die große Gesamtausgabe der Werke von Victor Hugo in einem besonders eleganten Exemplar, Schriften z.B. von Plutarch, Molière, Voltaire, Rousseau, Petrarca, das Architekturlexikon von Viollet-le-Duc und anderes. Nur wenige Bände mit Gebrauchsspuren, meist sehr gut erhalten und besonders aufwendig gebunden mit reicher Rückenvergoldung, teils auch mit Wappen auf den Deckeln. Eine sehr repräsentative Sammlung. A library with more than 250 decorative volumes from the 19th century containing books on literature, history, geography, a large French encyclopedia, monographs on European and Russian history, the dictionary of architecture by Viollet-le-Duc, a particularly elegant set of the works of Victor Hugo, editions of Plutarch, Molière, Voltaire, Rousseau, Petrarca and others. Although a few books show traces of use, most are very well preserved and in sumptuous bindings with richly gilt spines or coats of arms impressed on the covers. A very prestigious collection.
