In einem dunklen Kirchenraum wird theatralisches Licht auf die Szene geworfen, bei der ein Räuber mit Stemmeisen daran geht, den Deckel eines Tumbagrabes zu öffnen, mit skeptisch-ängstlichem Blick auf die daneben an einer Säule angebrachte Rüstung des Verstorbenen, dessen Rache er wohl, zu fürchten hat. Daneben wirkungsvoll drapiert eine rot-weiß gestreifte Fahne hinter mehreren Prunkgefäßen, Schalen, Flaschen und Kannen, die schatzkammerartig ihre Aufstellung finden.
