Elfenbeinschnitzfigur des antiken Göttervaters Zeus

Standfigur auf ebonisiertem, ovalem Sockel. Die Götterfigur frontal stehend, der Kopf etwas nach links geneigt, mit langem, in Locken an der Brust herabgeführtem Bart und Krone. Der rechte Arm über die Brust zur linken Schulter geführt, in der Hand das Attribut, die Blitzebündel. Die linke, nach unten geführte Hand hält ein Zepter, über dem Hals das Attribut des Adlers als Attributtier. Die Figur am Rücken leicht abgeflacht, jedoch verso auch in Schnitztechnik ausgeführt. Schöne Alterspatina, insbesondere an der stark gegilbten Rückseite. Große Frontzacken in der Krone. (8117890)
