Der Heilige Prophet Nahum lebte im 7. Jahrhundert v. Chr. und prophezeite die baldige Vernichtung von Niniveh, der Hauptstadt des assyrischen Reichs, durch den König der Meder, was 612 geschah, sowie die Wiederherstellung des Reiches Juda. Der Name des Propheten bedeutet "Ruhe" und "Trost". Auf der Schriftrolle steht folgender Text: "Ich sah dich als wahren (geistigen) Weinberg, aus dem hervorsproß die Weintraube des Lebens, Christus". Kleine Fehlstellen, ansonsten guter Erhaltungszustand des selten dargestellten Themas. (8001035)
