Bronzefigur einer antiken Venus-Statue, durchschnitten und durchdrungen von zahlreichen Tafelmessern. Die Bronze oxydgrün patiniert.

Armand gilt als einer der bedeutendsten internationalen Objektkünstler, war Mitbegründer und Vertreter des "Nouveau Réalisme", studierte an der Pariser "École du Louvre", stand in künstlerischer Freundschaft mit Yves Klein und führte mit diesem Happenings und Aktionen durch. Als einer der wichtigsten Repräsentanten des Stiles, neben Klein, Tenguely und César, schuf er zahlreiche Objekte unter Verwendung von Dingen des alltäglichen Konsums um den Verbrauchscharakter von Massenproduktion ironisch in Frage zu stellen.
