Rundrahmung mit Kymationfries und Flechtband, darin Halbfigur der jugendlichen Madonna mit dem Kind in ästhetisch-idealisierter Wiedergabe nach Renaissance-Vorbildern. Die Madonna hält mit zarter Geste den Fuß des Jesusknaben in den fein gearbeiteten Händen, darunter herabgeführter trapezförmiger Auszug mit Darstellung eines Engels mit seitlich hochgestellten Flügeln, ein Kreuz haltend, um den Hals eine Dornenkrone gelegt. Das Relief in höchst feiner Weise ausgeführt, die Gesichter feinnervig und kontemplativ gestaltet. Ausführung in weißem Carrara-Marmor. (75042218)
