Großer, figürlich geätzter Eisenteller
Durchmesser: 54,5 cm.
Brugge oder Nürnberg, laut Datierung 1597.
Flachteller mit leicht ansteigender breiter, flacher Fahne. Randeinfassung im Kordelmotiv. Beidseitig figürlich und ornamental geätzt und graviert: Im Fond Darstellung des auf einem Delfin reitenden Neptun vor Küstenlandschaft mit Bucht, Brücke und Burgruinen auf den Hügeln. In der Fahne Arabeskendekoration, in die am Unterrand ein Wappen mit Helmzier eingeflochten ist. Bodenunterseite mit großem rundem Arabeskenfeld, darin zwischen spiraliger Ornamentik die Aufschrift "jvdocvs perlacen / dono dedit / vxori joannae glams / brvgensis 1597". Darunter Wappen mit drei Ringen und den Monogrammbuchstaben "DNPV". (75042282)
