Blick von erhöhtem Standpunkt über die Meeresbucht mit ins Wasser reichender Aquäduktarchitektur. An einem Hügel Ruinen und Häuser um eine Kirche gruppiert. Weiter hinten drei Buchten um eine Landzunge mit Bergkegel. Auf den Felsen Burgruinen, im Vordergrund Figurenstaffage zwischen Häusern und lockerer Uferbebauung. Links vorne ein Weg zum Städtchen, darauf ein rot gekleideter Reiter auf einem Schimmel und weitere Figuren.
