Eine Nymphe am Waldboden auf Tüchern schlafend als Akt wiedergegeben, geschmückt mit einem blauen Gürtel und steinbesetzten Armspangen. Ihr Haupt liegt im Schatten eines zeltartig über den Baum gehängten, roten Velums, hinter dem ein Faun hervortritt und die nackte Schönheit betrachtet. Rechts daneben der Gott Amor als Knäblein mit Flügeln und Pfeil. Weiter rechts Blick in ferne Landschaft mit blauer Luftperspektive. In origineller Weise am rechten unteren Bildrand die Sandalen der Nymphe und eine Turteltaube. (740419)
