Rechts oben signiert und datiert „1930“. Verso mehrere Ausstellungsaufkleber sowie Sammlungsaufkleber einer Privatsammlung Icking.
Blumenstilleben. Blühende Agavenpflanze (Bromelie) in einem Tontopf vor einem grünen Vorhang mit Buch und Porzellanschüsseln. In der Malweise typisches Meisterwerk des Künstlers.
Anmerkung:
Das Gemälde wurde ausgestellt im Städtischen Gustav-Lübcke-Museum, Hamm, 26.7. - 6.9.1981. Im Katalog unter der Nr. 73 aufgeführt (dort fälschlich um 1924 datiert). Die Ausstellung wurde fortgesetzt im von-der-Heydt-Museum, Wuppertal, April/ Mai 1992, Kunsthalle Bremen, Juni/August 1992, Museum im Stern, Warburg, August/ Oktober 1992 sowie Sinclair House, Bad Homburg, Oktober/ Dezember 1992.
