Blick von einem Hang auf einen tieferliegenden Fluss mit Bogenbrücke und Steinfigur am Brückenpfeiler. Rechts in der Anhöhe unter Sträuchern Gebäude, dessen Dach von einem mittelalterlichen Rundturm überhöht ist. Im Vordergrund ein nach unten ziehender Hohlweg, darauf zwei auf Tüchern lagernde Figuren, eine Frau mit einem Korb, darüber blaues Tuch gelegt. Der rechts daneben lagernde Mann mit entblößtem Oberkörper, ebenfalls auf einen Korb gestützt, auf rotem Tuch. Daneben ein Fischer mit geschultertem Netz und Anglerkorb. Weiter oben rechts ein neben einem bepackten Esel heimkehrender alter Mann mit geschultertem Sack. Auf der Höhe des Hangs zwei weitere Figuren. Die landschaftliche Stimmung beherrscht vom blauen Himmel mit ziehenden Wolken. (722143)
