Im Passepartout verglast und gerahmt.
Im Zentrum ein Schimmel, der von einem Reiter zum Waschen ans Ufer gezogen wird. Im Hintergrund Frauen bei der Wäsche. Landschaftsdarstellung mit hohem Wolkenhimmel.
Das Gegenstück zeigt eine Landschaft mit Parkmauern, Gartenfiguren und Zypressen nahe eines Flusses. Im Zentrum der Darstellung ebenfalls ein Schimmel mit Sattel, umgeben von Pferden mit einem Reiter sowie einem Jagdherren, der einen Hund dressiert, seitlich Jagddiener mit Hunden. Hier ebenfalls hoher Wolkenhimmel, der die Szene wirkungsvoll beleuchtet. (721488)
