32,2 x 26,8 cm.
Die jugendliche, mythologische Figur in nackter Schönheit wiedergegeben, in Landschaft auf einem Pantherfell sitzend. Daneben ein kupferner Weinkrug, über ihr eine Weinranke, an der sie sich festhält, mit blauen Trauben sowie einem Amorknäblein. Weiter rechts am Bildrand eine Hermenstatue mit Zeuskopf vor hoher Zypresse.
Anmerkung:
Erigone war der giechischen Mythologie zufolge die Tochter des Ikarios, sie wurde von dem Weingott Dionysos mit einer Traube verführt und Mutter seines Sohnes Staphylos. Sie wurde von Zeus als Sternbild der Jungfrau an den Himmel versetzt.
