Anmerkung:
Die japanische Porzellanmanufaktur von Arita (Imari) wurde zum Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts durch politische Wirren erschwert und der Export durch die Abschottung Japans sehr reduziert. Die Nachfrage nach dem in Europa populären Imari-Porzellan versuchten nunmehr die wiedererstarkten chinesischen Manufakturen von Ching-te-chen zu decken. Das chinesische Imari unterscheidet sich von den japanischen Vorbildern durch einen weniger massiven Scherben und ist im Malduktus weniger flächedeckend. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür ist diese Platte.
