Der biblische König in reicher herrschaftlicher Kleidung mit Hermelinkragen und Brokatmantel, umgeben von mehreren höfischen Figuren, im Hintergrund seine
verehelichten Frauen, Kinder tragen seine Hermelinmantelschleppe. Sein Blick ist auf ein Götzenbild des Baal gerichtet, der auf hohem Sockel in Gestalt eines Königs trohnt. Im Hintergrund Menschenmenge und Architekturandeutung. Links im Vordergrund Feuerfackel und am Boden abgelegt bekrönter Turban und Zepter.
