Bodhisattva der Liao-Dynastie, 907-1125
Aufrecht stehende Bronzeskulptur des Bodhisattva, den linken Arm mit dem Zeigefinger erhoben, die rechte Hand nach unten weisend. Das lange Gewand mit Schleifen und einem Umhang, der den Schmuck über dem Brustkörper freilässt. Die feingearbeiteten Haare nach hinten zu einen Kopfschmuck hochgearbeitet, davor ein durchbrochen gearbeiteter Schmuck mit Blüten. Braune, leicht kupferfarbene Patina, moderner Holzstandsockel.

Gutachten: Der Figur liegt ein Gutachten zur Altersbestimmung vor, das auf der Rückseite eines Fotos bestätigt ist. Hier wurde eine Isotopenuntersuchung im Zentrum Voor Isotopen Onderzoek Nijenborgh 4 in 9747 AG GRONINGEN Niederlanden gemacht und bestätigt ein Alter von ca. 1045 Jahren plus minus 50. Ein weiteres Gutachten liegt vor vom Laborator Ralf Kotalla mit einem Thermoluminiszens-Gutachten des Gusskernes, das ein Alter von 800 Jahren plus minus 30% angibt. (641691)
