Exzellentes Okimono zweier Sumo-Ringer
Zwei Sumo-Ringer aus Elfenbein im Kampf dargestellt. Ein Sumo-tori breitbeinig stehend, die Arme ausgestreckt, der andere Ringer, der gerade zu Fall gebracht worden ist, am Boden liegend, Arme und Beine von sich streckend. Beide tragen mawashi gohei. Die Gruppe steht auf einer ovalen Elfenbeinplinthe, in die mehrere Fußabdrücke der beiden Ringer gearbeitet sind. Auf der Unterseite signiert “Teigyôku“.
