Temperantiaschüssel des Francois Briot
Flache, stark profilierte Schüssel mit breitem Rand, die Flächen mit reichem Reliefdekor. Das Mittelfeld zeigt die Darstellung der Temperantia, in einem ersten Rundfries sind in vier Kartuschen die Elemente Feuer, Wasser, Luft und Erde, in einem zweiten Rundfries die sieben freien Künste und ihre Schutzherrin Minerva dargestellt. Entworfen von Francois Briot (gegen 1550-1616), um 1585. Früher Guß des 17. Jhdts. aus der bereits etwas abgenutzten Originalform.
Im Feld mit der Musik eingeschlagene alte Besitzermarke des 17./18. Jhdts.
