Anmerkung: Hylas ist eine Figur der griechischen Mythologie. Er war der jugendliche und sehr schöne Freund von Herakles, den er ständig begleitete. Hylas blieb als Waffenträger bei Herakles, als dieser sich den Argonauten anschloss. Gemeinsam suchten sie nach dem Goldenen Vlies. Die Wege des Hylas und Herakles trennten sich in Kleinasien, an der Küste von Mysien: beim Wasserholen zogen Nymphen Hylas in ihren Quellteich. Herakles suchte lange und erfolglos nach ihm. Die Argonauten zogen ohne Hylas weiter.
