DER UNERWARTETE BESUCH
Ein erboster Vater holt seine Tochter von ihrem Geliebten zurück. Genreszene im Innenraum eines bürgerlichen Handwerkerhauses. Der Vater tritt erzürnt zur Tür herein. Draußen wartet der Diener mit Kutsche, die Tochter in blauem Seidenkleid sitzt schluchzend auf einem Stuhl, gehalten von ihrem Geliebten, einem im Armeemantel sitzenden jungen Mann. Reiche Wiedergabe der Interieuraustattung des an der Decke hängenden Wildes, Flaschen und Krüge über einem Tellerbord, sowie das Gewehr und das Gepäck des jungen Soldaten an einem Stuhl vor dem Fenster. Drölling war in den Jahren 1802-1813 Figurenmaler für die Porzellanmanufaktur in Sevre und hat durch seine Gemälde mehrere Künstler beeinflusst.
