Marshall Nicolas Jean Soult
Auf einem hohem Bronzesockel mit Akanthusblattfries die aufrecht stehende Figur des Feldmarshalls. Das rechte Bein als Standbein, das linke Bein als Spielbein gearbeitet. Dargestellt in Paradeuniform mit Epauletten und besticktem Gewand und Kragen. Sein Umhang mit Perlbesatz auf der linken Schulter. In der rechten Hand hält er einen Vertrag. Schöne dunkelbraune bis hellbraune Patina.
H.: mit Sockel: 91 cm. Fußgröße: 26 x 26 cm.

Anmerkung:
Nicolas Jean Soult war Herzog von Dalmatien. Geb. 1769. 1804 wurde er Marshall von Frankreich. Er nahm an fast allen Feldzügen Napoleons teil. Nachdem er Kriegsminister untern Ludwig XVIII. war, folgte er wieder Napoleon und kämpfte bei Waterloo. Soult starb 1851. (6208546)
