Anmerkung:
Das Gemälde stammt aus dem Besitz des Herzog Christian Ludwig von Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Dieser war dafür bekannt, dass er in seinem Hause Affen hatte. Ausgangspunkt für das Gemälde des Findorff Schülers Johann Heinrich Suhrlandt, Früchtestilleben mit Pinselohräffchen, 1821, (Inv.Nr.G 2851), ist eine Rötelskizze im Skizzenbuch Suhrlandts, S.177.
