Totenmaske Napoleons
Montiert ist diese Maske auf einem rechteckigem Holzkasten, in dessen Mitte eine Marmorplatte eingelegt ist. Auf dieser ist die metallene Totenmaske montiert. Unterhalb der Maske im hölzernen Rahmen befindet sich eine Medaille mit dem Profil Napoleons. Die Totenmaske selber ist 36 cm hoch. Weiterhin läßt sich der Holzkasten öffnen und auf der Rückseite des Deckels befindet sich eine metallene Plakette mit der Inschrift: “Der Arzt Atommachi nahm von Napoleons Antlitz die Totenmaske ab. Beim 2. Abguß zerbrach die Form. Der 1. Abguß gehört heute Alfred Schmidt-Ährenberg, der 1929 von Leyrer in München mit fünf broncene Abgüsse davon herstellen liefs. Dies ist der fünfte.
