1852 München - 1930 KATZE MIT IHREN JUNGEN AM BRETTERZAUN Virtuos gemaltes Tierstück des bekannten Katzenmalers. Im Zentrum eine getigerte Katze mit flauschigem Fell. Vor ihr 4 junge Kätzchen, eines in Weiß, das ein über den Zaun herannahendes weiteres Kätzchen beobachtet. Stillebenhaft arrangierte Gartengeräte wie Gießkanne und Reisigbesen, im Hintergrund hinter Holzplanken ein Haselnussstrauch, dessen Blätter in die Szenerie hineinhängen. Feine Malweise, die die einzelnen Materialien in treffender naturalistischer Weise wiedergibt. Öl/Lwd. 60 x 100 cm. Rechts unten sign. und dat. 1902. (561841)
