C. Seguy (genannt Seguy de la Garde)
Maler des 19. Jhdt. und ehemals Offizier der alten königlichen französischen Garde Serie von fünf römischen Ansichten: Forum Romanum, Vestatempel in Tivoli, das Trajansforum sowie Blick auf das Capitol, Tiberbrücke mit Engelsburg und Petersdom. Jeweils identische Wiedergaben der Situation der Gebäude im 19. Jhdt., mit reicher Figurenstaffage. Eines der Bilder (Tivoli-Vestatempel) trägt links unten die Signatur in Rot. Gouache/Karton. Sichtmaß: je 22,5 x 30 cm. In Passepartouts verglast und gerahmt. Anmerkung: Überlieferungsgemäß hatte der Maler und Gardeoffizier in den Jahren 1808 bis 1815 Napoleon nach Italien begleitet.
