Gotischer Corpus Christi
In Lindenholz geschnitzt und polychrom gefaßt - die originale Fassung noch weitgehend erhaltend, aber an den erhabenen Stellen teilweise abgerieben. Expressiver Schnitzstil, der an eine Anlehnung an ein früheres Gnadenbild denken läßt, mit starker Betonung der Rippenbögen und parallel geführten Schüsselfalten. Die Haare vom nach vorne geneigten Kopf in gedrehten Strähnen herabfallend, in Schnitzart, wie sie ähnlich bei Loy Hering, 1484 -1554, im Raum Augsburg/Eichstätt zu finden ist. H.: 101 cm. B. d. ausgestreckten Arme: 95 cm. T.: 16,5 cm. Die ergänzten Kreuzbalken Höhe 106 cm. Süddeutschland, um 1500. Anmerkung: Dem Schnitzwerk ist eine Restaurier- Dokumentation beigegeben, sowie schriftliche Stellungnahmen zur Provenienz, aus dem schleswig-holsteinischem Landesmuseeum sowie von Wolfgang J. Kroker, die das Schnitzwerk topografisch verschieden zuordnen. (531251)
