Maler im Umkreis/Nachfolge der Wessobrunner Schule nach 1700
“MARIA - MUTTER DER SCHÖNEN LIEBE“ Andachtsbild, das im Zusammenhang mit der berühmten Wessobrunner “Schönen Liebe - Maria“ entstanden ist, das der Benediktiner Mönch Innozenz Metz (geb. 1644 Bramant a. Inn - 1724 Regensburg)schuf. Brustbild der Maria mit Blumenkranz im Haar, hinterfangen von einer Gold-Strahlengloriole, im Originalen geschnitztem und vergoldeten sowie durchbrochen gearbeiteten Frührokoko-Rahmen mit Gitterwerk. Bei dem Bild dürfte es sich um eine Wiederholung des Wessobrunner Knabenbildes handeln, in mehreren Kupferstichen des 18. Jhdt. überliefert. 43 x 35 cm. Gesamtrahmenmaß: 109 x 75 cm. Um 1740.
