In Gold und blauem Email. Eine Klinge in Stahl mit Goldkante. Die zweite Klinge in Gold. Die Seitenschalen längs besetzt mit transluzidem, blauen Email (An einer Seite rest.). An den Enden fein gearbeitete Rosetten. Seitlich Perlstabdekor mit Perlen in Weiß-Email. Stahlklinge sign. Delaunay. Auf der Goldklinge Pariser Stadtmarke sowie Meistermarke Jean Le Compte (Meister 1776, erwähnt 1791 und 1792). Bei Rosenberg als Goldschmiedemeister speziell für Taschenmesser erwähnt. Vergl. Rosenberg, Pariser Meister, s. 295, Nr. 6753 f. Des weiteren auf der Klinge Marke R mit Krone. Ein Messer dieser Herstellung, laut Rosenberg, ehemals Besitz Baron N. von Rothschild, Wien 1884.
