Höfischer Louis XVI-Spiegel
Hochrechteckformatiger Wandspiegel. Rahmen in kräftiger Hohlkehle, besetzt mit Kanneluren, Perlstab und Palmettenleisten. Aufsatz mit hohem, durchbrochenem, reich gestaltetem Schnitzwerk. Ein Kranzgebinde von Rosen, darin ein Ring mit Perlstabeinlage, in dem zwei auffliegende Vögel turteln, durch eine Schleife miteinander verbunden. Seitlich des Blütenkranzes zwei auf dem Spiegelgesims aufsitzende Adler, über deren Hals je eine Blumengirlande herabgeführt ist, die die oberen Seiten des Spiegels flankieren. Die Schnitzereien sämtlich gefaßt und vergoldet. 160 x 82 cm. Ende 18.Jhdt. (381264)
