Berliner Empire-Silberkännchen
Körper kugelförmig mit hochgestellten spitz-ovalen Bombierungen, darüber ein doppelt aufgelegtes Fries von hängenden Blättern. Eingezogener Fuß auf dreifach getreppter Standplatte mit Palmetten- und Perlstabfries. Der Ausguss breit und geschwungen, der Henkel in Form einer Volute, die zweifach eingerollt mit Schlangenkopf endet und mit Akanthusblättern besetzt ist. Klassizistischer Entwurf im Umkreis von Schinkel. Beschauzeichen Berlin: stehender Löwe mit "K" (Rosenberg, Nr. 1161) sowie Beschauzeichen: "A" (Rosenberg, Nr. 1166) sowie Meistermarke: "CG". Am Fuß Datierung 24.09.1831 in feiner Gravur. Eine kleine Palmette fehlt. H.: 16 cm. Gewicht: 180 g. Berlin, nach 1800. (382659)
