GROSSFORMATIGES GEMÄLDE MIT DARSTELLUNG DES HEILIGEN CHRISTOPHORUS Auf seinem Rücken das Jesuskind segnend. 203 x 97 cm. Öl/Malpapier auf mehrere Kartonschichten aufgezogen. Gerahmt. Um 1890. Bei dem unsignierten Bild handelt es sich sehr wahrscheinlich um die 1:1-Vorlage zu einem Glasgemälde für eine der berühmten Müncher Glasmalerei-Manufakturen. Dafür sprechen die starken Konturen der einzelnen Bildelemente. Der Malstil ist in die Schule Martin von Feuersteins oder Karl Wurms einzuordnen, die bis Anfang des 20. Jhdts. für Kirchenaufträge arbeiteten. (997412)
